VJ Day will be commemorated with a short service in Exmouth’s Strand at 11am on Saturday, August 15. Organised by the Exmouth branch of the Royal British Legion, it will feature the National Anthem and The Last Post.

Entry to Exmouth’s National Trust property, A la Ronde, is free on Saturday September 11as part of the national Heritage Open Day event.

At A la Ronde, the National Trust’s 16-sided house in Summer Lane near Exmouth, there’s plenty to do in the school holidays.
