The people of Woodbury have been entertained and raised money for the village school at its summer fair.

The event at Woodbury Primary School featured games and entertainment, including a speed trap game where youngsters got to time themselves running past a police radar gun.

There was also a barbecue, a very popular bouncy castle, and stalls run by former pupils, including a qualified beauty therapist and a restaurant chef, who headteacher Nigel Tancock said he was delighted to welcome back.

Mr Tancock added: “I am grateful to everyone who helped to make the summer fair a great success.

“It was extremely well attended, one of the best attended we have had.”
