The local heathlands have been taken over by ramblers this week under guided nature tours organised by East Devon rangers. Visitors had a chance to get a firsthand look at heathland habitats, home to britain’s lizards, snakes and many other animals.

Exmouth marked Armed Forces Day in The Strand at the weekend. The Royal Marine Band Service opened the event with their marching band display followed by a combat ready demonstration by marines from the Lympstone Commando Training Centre. Hundreds of visitors turned up to enjoy the occasion and support our armed forces.
