Putting fun into schoolEXETER
Road School pupils celebrated Shrove Tuesday with an all-school pancake race.
The
youngsters teamed up in groups and took part in a relay race across the playground.
The pupils had to toss the pancakes before returning back to their teams.
Headteacher
Val Lineham said: “The races gave the pupils lots of enjoyment. One class
is going back to do some work about Pancake Day. I do think that we get our heads
stuck so far into the national curriculum that we forget we should be doing other
fun things too.”
