Women's Midnight Walk for Hospiscare
More than 1,000 women walked from Budleigh Salterton to Exmouth to raise funds for Hospiscare.
Some 1,200 women from across Devon took part in the seven-mile Hospiscare Midnight Walk, raising funds for people with incurable illnesses.
The event, on June 13, was part of the charity’s Ease the Pain appeal, aiming to raise £3.5million to help care for 1,800 patients and their families from across East Devon, Exeter and Mid Devon.
Cash raised by the women’s walk will help fund pain relieving equipment, specialist community nursing, day care sessions, bereavement services and complimentary therapies for people with terminal illnesses.
