To all Budleigh shopkeepers.
If you walk though the town of Budleigh after 4pm at the moment, it seems half the shops are shut.
I know it’s January, it’s cold and dull and it’s quiet, but if the shops aren’t open, people will be put off coming to Budleigh.
My husband and I owned a business in Budleigh for 18 years so I know what it’s like.
There are days, particulalrly in the winter, where you might not see many customers late in the afternoon but I think you have to be open, just in case.
We have some lovely shops in Budleigh, so come on shopkeepers and stay open.
