Pedal power helps RNLI raise £1,800

As one of the ‘yellow peril’ boys, I am writing in response to the letter by Mr Russell Buer, (January 31).

The crew, ‘Hot Soup Lady’ (Caz Ashman – lifeboat visits officer) and myself, would like to extend our thanks to all those who supported the Six On Saddles cycle ride on Sunday, January 20.

The total amount raised currently stands at £1,855.60, however there are still some monies to be collected and the donation website is still open at www.virginmoneygiving.com/sixonsaddles.

A final total will be announced in due course.
