David Cameron has promised us a referendum on the EU in five years’ time.
European law states that no country may hold a referendum after 2014 without asking the EU first.
Our Prime Minister knew this was coming into force when he made his promise.
What does everyone suppose the chances are that the EU will tell us they’re happy for us to hold a referendum which might well result in us leaving?
