Here at Clinton Devon Estates we read with interest the front page article “Tidal flood plan causes concern” (Budleigh Journal, March 27).
Following your report on the inquest of Ronald Keenan, he was our Dad, and we would like to point out that, in our opinion, he was not an alcoholic.
Before changing from bicycles to vans, involving huge expense, was the alternative of tricycles considered? (“‘Postal service has gone to pot’”, Budleigh Journal, March 20).
In her letter “We need resolve on cycle network” (Opinion, April 3) Jan Poulson seems to hint that “the council” (unspecified) was at fault and should not have infilled the Littleham Cross railway bridge because it should have been a crucial link in the National Cycle Network.
MPs’ expenses are once again in the news ... Is that really a surprise?
