Hi I was born in Lympstone but left to live in Southampton in 1960, married had 3 children and came to live in Australia in 1980 I have not been back since but still keep in touch with friends there. I have a Look at the web cam it is great to be able to see what is going on, I read the Lympstone Herald, Exmouth Herald and the Express and Echo to keep in touch, I still miss the place very much but I love Australia we live in the tropical north right on the beach about 200km south from Cairns. if anyone how reads this and remembers me please get in touch.

Saw your message. Although I don't know you I was interested in seeing you were born in Lympstone. I Played football for several years for Lympstone in the premier league and had some great memories of the lovely little village. We also migrated to Australia back some 42 years ago. We now live south of Brisbane Qld and love it here. I agree I love looking on the Internet for things about England even though I shall never return there. but memories are great Eh  I also went to the Secondary Boys school at Withycombe and left there in 1948 Wink <img src=" src="/cs/emoticons/emotion-5.gif">

Hi Fozzy,  Have just been looking at the paper, It was good to have a reply I live near Tully I agree with you it is noce to look around but the England that we knew does not exsist anymore and there have been to many changes, You must have come out about the same time as my sister she was Pat Reed we lived in the big house by the station it was called Dalkeith house then and the pub opposet was the London Inn a B & B now thanks for the answer will look for more DianeAutomobile [au]Drinks [D]
