Truly British - Good old Eton!!

Hell again!,

Last evening I watched here a documentary about Eton College in Windsor. It was really a good programme and added such a lot of how Eton College works and what they offer to those who enter there. The only thing they didnt play, was the 'Eton Boating Song', which was always a favourite request and played on 'Housewive's Choice' on Saturday mornings back in the 1950's, but I got around that by visiting their website and there, I could listen to that famous song which shot me back to those days in good old England and memories of sitting before the radio Saturday mornings. I was also able to listen to the Eton School Song, 'Carmen Etonense', sung in latin and quite stirring I might add.. This song is sung at the end of the term, by the boys and its choir and own school orchestra.
Yes, twas really a delight all in all. Hope I get to see some more things on TV about good old England and let me memorise over a cup of tea and a stoke up of the old pipe!!.
