Roger 24/02/2008, 12:59 PM

A Senior Council for Devon has been set up and will be formally launched at the next meeting of the assembly in March. The Senior Council consists of people who are over 50 and wish to take an active part in running the organisation. The main aim is to become a non politically affiliated body, that will activly communicate with the statuary bodies, Councils, NH trusts, etc to create a better understanding of the needs of the mainly over 50's in Devon. There is bound to be a local branch near to where you live. Membership is free and anyone who wishes to take part will be made very welcome.

The next meeting of the Exmouth local group will be held in Exmouth Town football club at 2pm on tuesday 8th April.

All new members will be made very welcome. Please don't be shy, come along and be a part of the Senior Council for Devon.  If you need any more info then you can phone Peter Fletcer Associates on 01395 568727 or visit the web site at www.seniorcouncilfordevon.org.uk
